Canadian fans tend to overreact to losses. And certainly there have been editions of Team Canada with baffling decisions roster wise. I don't see that being the case here. Hockey is a game with randomness and the Czechs have a lot of talent. Canada has been the better team, but hockey is random. So now it's basically sudden death where a bad bounce could end it. Doesn't mean that this wasn't a good roster. People are already preparing to point fingers. Sometimes you just lose.
Yep. Even powerhouse hockey teams only win two-thirds of their games. In a single-game knockout tournament, even the best teams will get bounced fairly often.
