Were the Jays in on the Yamamoto sweepstakes as well? I know they were runner-ups for Sasaki. Hopefully being in the World Series actually helps in getting these Japanese phenoms.

I think they inquired but it wasn't as close as it was with Ohtani and Sasaki.
