Well i do see there will be Goalies that would be better available on waivers so maybe we will pick up one of them.

Sucks to see Kerins have two slightly less effective games. Might be what lands him somewhere like Pittsburgh via waivers.

I'd still have him as my 13th at least.

Hate losing talent while lower ceiling players are locked into spots.

I think expecting Parekh to be decent defensively is an unrealistic goal here - at least at this point in time. He was not a defensive stalwart in Junior, so to expect him to be good at this moment against the best players in the world is unreasonable.

He is here in the NHL because that's the best spot for his development. He is way too good for junior any longer. Sure, some AHL time would have helped, but that's not an option. Expect a lot of hiccups defensively, enjoy his offensive acumen. Eventually he will improve defensively as he gains experience, but for now, just don't expect him to be any type of strong defensive presence.

That’s an embarrassing post. Easily refuted.

Under Huska's tutelage he can work up to being serviceable, as long as he is a willing student (sounds like he's very bright so shouldn't be an issue)

Then we plug him into the PP to capitalize on his talent.
