The Jets are broken. Their top center is injured and their goalie is scared of being hit by the puck. You can't play when you don't trust your goalie. Look how well they played in the regular season when they trusted him vs now. It's over.

This is the post I agree with the most. We've run into injuries, a violent team on a heater playing at a high level, and our MVP goaltender is a basket case who cant produce in the playoffs.
Pure misery.

Connor with a terrible turn over. Didnt like his body language. Team needs to settle down and find swagger again

Jets were always in an awkward place with Helle. Probably the best regular season goalie and the total opposite in the playoffs. Can't trade him for anything worthwhile, because everyone knows. Can't really keep him.

I don’t understand all the pundits saying they can’t pull Helleybuck. You’re really going to throw away a game 7 so you don’t hurt your goalie’s confidence? It’s clear Helleybuck’s confidence is already totally destroyed every time he puts on the pads for a playoff game.

Credit to Binnington there for getting right up after that collision. A lot of goalies (skinner) would have stayed down faking it to try and get a call.

Jets just need a bounce and they'll be back in it.

At this point, however unlikely, I am evaluating each team how they’d match against the grease pigs. While a good hellebuyck goes a long way, I actually think this version of the blues would give the oilers headaches. Really physical, dirty, good goaltending. The would run the Diver twins through the boards and give them no respect.
The ref factor though…. Would the blues get away with their antics on the league’s darlings…
And the winner obviously has to get through Dallas.

The Blues are very impressive and its been no fluke they're the best team since the 4 nations. They're physical and cause havoc in front of the net. Dirty, but, whatever.

This is very Flames vs Ducks game 7 at the Dome feeling this far. Jets were ripe for it as the top team in the NHL this year
