What kind of dumb coach puts Huberdeau in the shootout after his dismal track record?

Yeah, after Sharagovich obviously, he had the best attempt. Goalie got just a piece of it.

Since when are rebounds in shootouts allowed?

Wild get two more points to finish middle of the pack and continue mediocrity.

If it didn't work the first 7 times, it'll for sure work on the 8th try.

I just watched it again, and I think he only made one shot, the last one that went in. He was deking the goaltender when it hit Vladar’s paddle, and then he shot. I think that’s why they called it a goal. I originally thought the shot that went in was the second shot, but it was really the first.

Was it because there was forward motion that a second touch was allowed?
Would like to know the rule here.
Looks like a bad miss from Toronto.

Losing the puck when dekeing (and the puck moving forward, as it was) doesn't count as a shot on net when it hits the goalie?
So a if that went in it wouldn't count because he was dekeing?

Not sure, just trying to come up with an explanation.

The way Sharangovich and Zary are playing we just need a 1-2 year retool to restock the cupboard from the draft and find a couple elite additions.
I will take this year and maybe next year as Huby the tank commander.

Every time.
There isn't an argument to be made otherwise. They've all been blanked except for sharkman

For sure. A hypothetical question. Of course it would count if the missed deke went in...it didn't, Vladar' saved it, and then the player taps a second time to put it in.
As mentioned, the Flames and Huska especially have to make a scene about some of these things, not just "disagree and move on". The Flames would've won that game on the Vladar great save.

My heart sank as soon as they said "Jonathan Huberdeau has a chance to win it in a shootout". because I knew he didn't.
