He does, but as a likely first round pick and with Harbaugh probably gone it would seem likely he leaves.

Yeah they was an odd playcall or at least how it played out.
With the snap the QB has to realize right away he's not running through the line. Mobile enough that maybe he can try and improvise and get to the edge.

As an aside, I've never understand the fascination with Sarkisian, that all the large programs were so infatuated with him over the last 10+ years.
USC, twice, Washington, then Alabama, twice, and now paid $6M by Texas.
He's jumped all over the place after short times, including an NFL stint, and was fired due to being drunk at USC the second time.
And totally slipped my mind he played for the Riders.
