You know what's funny? (or maybe not). I don't really care who wins it won't affect me. Yea it's selfish but I've used up my capacity to care about politics. All I can hope for is the party in power will actually put people first.

Where I tend to disagree is with is the idea that wealthy people usually fall into it. Generational wealth, yeah sure. But all the self made millionaires I know have terminal Workaholism. It's almost sad the amount of time they commit to their ventures at the expense of having a life.

I’m going to guess that most of the self made millionaires you know were born into exceptional circumstances and simply can’t acknowledge it.

They’re often white.
They are usually born into a stable family.
Don’t suffer from significant afflictions, mental or otherwise.
They had positive role models.

I could go and on.

Lots of very hard working people out there and they’re not all millionaires.

A normal poll takes about an hour to count. You don’t start counting until all people in line at 8 have voted so usually that takes 15-30 minutes. So somewhere between 9 and 9:30 we should get election day results.

For advanced I don’t know how they are reporting with the multi-location polls. It seems like they would do each station after it’s been processed but it maybe they finish all of them at once and then report.

That likely would have created momentum for the greens vote splitting but maybe you gain the marginals that we saw abstain or go AP in this thread. Tough to say where the net benefit is.

I also think a Notley led “Alberta Party” would just be the Notley Trudeau Liberals instead of the Notley,Singh, Trudeau NDP.

The same should be said for the people who run the UCP, they don't even need to have a moderate candidate, just with a non-bat #### crazy leader they roll over this election with ease. Even if they just kept Kenney and he is crazy, just not quite at the bat #### level, they likely win easily.

The UCP had the election in their hand guaranteed and have proceeded to do everything possible to give the election to the NDP.
