Only thing I can think of was he told him that he’s the guy for the rest of the season. No excuses, no goalie debate. You’re the starter come hell or high water.

I like to think there’s some intense locker room drama none of us are privy to and he’s gonna let Markstrom get shelled until the team goes back to doing things his way.
It’s like the flames players think that since they won’t take a pound of flesh neither will the other team.

For this year agreed. However, by next year at a salary of 10.5m per year. He has to be that guy to drive a line or carry a team, however unlikely it will be.
Even Murray Edwards can’t be blind to Sutter’s piss poor “motivational” antics. Honestly, if he’s kept on as coach I might have to switch to the Kraken full time.
