Could easily be a spectacular flop given the question marks as lazy players rarely change their spots and his decision making off the field has been poor. Eagles were in a position to swing for the fences but I don't see much middle ground here as outside of Richardson he's the biggest boom/bust player in the draft.

IMO Levis should be picked tonight as he's fallen into value territory.

It’s interesting to see Richardson go so high and Levis drop so far in comparison. They both seemed to be big time boom bust type prospects, and there was even talk about Levis going anywhere in the top 5. Those two will be interesting to see how their careers pan out.

IMO Levis is falling to where he ultimately should be picked as neither of them are day one players. Richardson is now the overhyped 1st round QB that has a high chance of busting. Part of the reason Jackson has had success is because of the team that drafted him was the perfect landing spot. The Ravens have been winning for a while with junk at QB and they could afford to build a special offense around a QB. I'm not so sure it's repeatable and quite frankly Jackson was a far more accomplished college player going into the draft.

Bridgewater might be the better comparison. Last pick of the first round of his draft, Vikings traded up.

Levis comparable? That’s easy it’s Drew Lock. Someone will get a reasonably ok backup quarterback with a second round pick.

You have to be ecstatic with the first round of the draft that the Eagles had. It is still a pretty loaded roster and they picked up two excellent defensive players with one of them arguably the best position player out there. Just fantastic.

Thought Arizona did well with their trades.

Not sure what the Lions were thinking. Seattle as well. Didn't mind the picks just didn't think it was what they needed.

Levis is a pocket passer so maybe his mobility is a concern to teams. But somebody is getting a decent QB prospect in the second round.

No.

He is very mobile actually and particularly for a guy his size. His comparison by many is Josh Allen.

I think the biggest reason teams are shying away from him is his lack of experience. He just hasnt played a lot of college ball and will probably take some time as a pro to see things he didnt get to see much of at Kentucky.

I would say he is definately worth a day 2 pick but its understandable why he didnt go in round 1.

Here is a pretty detailed scouting report on his strengths and weaknesses.

Titans, Rams, or Vikings could be interesting landing spots for him.

Tannehill, Stafford, and Cousins are all getting up there in age and could use a transition plan at QB.

Also puts him in a good spot where he doesn't have to be expected to come in and start right away.

A bit surprised at the Hawks choice at 5 (Witherspoon), but pretty happy with JSN at 20.

Time to shore up the defense over the next 2 days though

This is what I thought. Some teams only have a year or two left on their current QB so picking a guy to sit for a year or two makes sense to me. Titans have to see what they have in Willis before they take another QB but Minnesota and LA make a lot of sense to grab Hooker or Levis. Even Seattle but they have bigger concerns on that defensive front to deal with first.

On the one hand, rummy is obviously drunk. On the other, if you're gambling on a risky project why not gamble on two risky projects?

Shiny new QBs for everyone in the AFC south not named the Jags, and the Jags have Lawrence who is still just a pup

slam dunk draft for the Steelers so far. Broderick Jones fills a huge need, and Joey Porter Jr. at 32 is fantastic value. Thought it'd be one of them at 17 ... ending up with both of them is amazing.

Browns have no picks in first two rounds. And for what? DeShaun.

Levis says great in 2021, that's when hype really started, but Kentucky lost a lot of talent and his OC and he struggled last year

It's a good value 2nd round pick imo
