Headed to the Stampede today to take my kids on rides.

Probably about 10 degrees too hot for that.

Stampede is always 10 to 15 degrees to hot for normal people.

Kids will be fine if you feed them and make them drink.

It is also why I dont have kids lol!

Seriously though hope you had a great time.

Just stroll through the numerous spray portals.

If the swaths of overweight Americans can survive 45 degree highs in summer then we can survive a balmy 29.

This is a perfect amount of rain.

Now it can be sunny and hot for the rest of July.

Its also the perfect pace of rain. Constant enough to hydrate lawns but not so torrential as to over-saturate.

I just can't tell when if at all the storm is supposed to happen this afternoon/ evening. Different weather outlets have conflicting views apparently.

You like the humidity? It makes hot wetter grosser and cold weather feel even colder. The one good thing Calgary weather has going for it outside of sunshine is low humidity.

This level of heat is pretty ideal. You can still do things, feasibly... Although even at this level the shade is nice.
