If you can shoot even par today, you are moving up the leaderboard.
Course is playing tough.

Scoreboard doesn't suggest it's playing tough, lots of guys under par in their rounds right now. Looking like it'll be a +3 cut unless the conditions get worse.

Looks like about 50 players at par or better today. It's not playing that tough.

I’d guess +4 for the cut. I like the setup. Tough but fair. Always a sign of a good setup when the best players gravitate to the top.

Well hope you took the 4.6% chance because it's looking like it'll be +4. +4 went from T72 to T63 in the last 30 minutes.

Helluva leaderboard for the weekend.
Morikawa, Rahm, McIlroy, Scheffler. Those are some heavy hitters. And chance for quite a few surprise contenders too.

JT with a ton of F bombs after not getting relief from a drain.
Personally I think he should have gotten it.

Instead of making those situations judgement calls by rules officials and players making the case for relief they should just paint a 2 or 3 foot circle around those types of features and make it automatic relief.

Not a great front nine for Hadwin but he just outside the top ten still and a few strokes off the lead.

I just saw the video of JT’s meltdown. I don’t blame him for being upset, he definitely should have gotten relief

Now that was a US Open round of golf, absolute survival mode from everyone and basically no positive scoring. I would say I'm excited for tomorrow, but is anyone excited for 45 minutes an hour of commercials on NBC? Coverage has been abysmal.

Favourite two shots of the day - Hadwin chipping out of thick rough and holing out to go to -2 and in a tie for 4th. Also, Rahm up by one stroke on 18; tee shot in the bunker, bunker shot into the lip of the bunker, rolls back down to his feet. Just awesome.

Loved that golf today. Players at top of their game still able to shoot good scores and lots of struggles. Miracle that Rory could stay in it, as he struggled big time tee to green.
Lots of players can win this thing tomorrow.

Agreed, forecast is windy and cool.
I just put $100 on Rory at +900 and a stupid bet of $50 on Adam at +2500

Hadwin needs to pick up his pace of play.

Rain over night. Course will be softer, not going to see a repeat of yesterday.

I'm liking Zalatoris today, he's been knocking on the door at majors for the last couple years, and he's just such a solid player.
