He had the puck, the biggest rat on the other team wanted it...played a little keep away and then threw it down. People are so soft these days...to think of the things that happened back in the day you guys would be in the fetal position crying.
And M. Tkachuck is supposed to pick it up and hand it to them? In a gift box? He angled it off the boards towards there end FFS.

And Reddit will be leading the charge.
I’ve softened my stance from last night. As you mentioned, I guarantee Brady was buzzing around jawing about wanting the puck the last 10 seconds, and Rasmus didn’t want to give it to him. Plain and simple given the pest that Brady is. Matt just fired it away so the Sens wouldn’t all come down and to get his brother out of the way.
That said, I am sure Andersson knew why Brady wanted the puck, the players have to be well aware this is a rookie goalie and my guess is Sutter used that as motivation at some point too.
But the reaction as if Rasmus stole this goalies first born child and held its head under water for 5 seconds, is a little much, and gets semi reasonable people whipped up into a useless frenzy about “classy” behaviour that predictably spreads past an incident on the ice and down a slippery slope where the arguments get more heated and ridiculous.
