Yeah, they really don't need the 1st overall. All in all, I don't care about the Rangers, so the result is fine. I would be pissed if I was a fan in their division though.

I loved the fact that when they showed the GM's they all had pictures on their walls or keep sakes. Holland didn't, why unpack as long as their skype membership is up to date?

NYR is fine by me. Just a relief it's not the Oilers. Lafreniere must be loving it though. Could you pick a better city to go be a young superstar in?

I'm okay with the Rangers winning, they were good for a while, haven't had a first overall pick, and a top star in New York would be good for the league.

Only think I don't like is that Rangers do the shady college UFA thing where players only want to sign there sometimes, so that's annoying.

No Edmonton, No Winnipeg (would have sucked for team Flames beat to get 1st overall), No Toronto....all good to me
