Mac-Done-ald, methinks.

Unless a 2-way.

I don't have video, but I commented on how nice that pass was at the time. It was a thing of beauty. The Flames need to keep being patient with Bennett and giving him opportunity because there is more there. He made some very high skill plays tonight.

Valimaki (should be back by Jan/Feb) - better than MacDonald

Davidson - better than MacDonald, just needs time to get his game back after missing most of last season

Yelesin - ??? but could improve rapidly given he's new to North America. Some time in the video room and we could have a gem.

I'm just not concerned about defensive depth. We rolled a Kylington - Andersson 3rd pair last year and barely even lost when those two were in the lineup (I think we went something like 27-5 but don't quote me).

We just have so many options without even thinking about MacDonald. An injury on the left while Valimaki is out? Brodie can suck it up and play the left side for a while with Stone. Or Kylington could prove himself up the lineup - he has the skill to really benefit from a chance with a steady partner like Hamonic as he's a real gunner from the point.

What #6/7 d-men are available or will be available on waivers?

Neither Kylington or Macdonald earned it

We need some better pickups for Stockton. It's important that our prospect goaltenders have better D to play behind. The Heat were terrible last season.

Lol just saw the score tonight. Incredible boxscore. I wish it was regular season.

It doesn't matter if it's only an exhibition game, if you can stick it to the Oilers, you stick it to the Oilers.

Tonight was glorious.

Only thing that matters to me is that backlund isn't seriously hurt from a nothing game

This,

Its also why Kylington in Stockton makes more sense than being the 7th guy in Calgary.

I can see BT adding 2 more dmen in the next few days actually, unless MacDonald signs a 2 way and agrees to start in Stockton.

I actually felt bad for the guy at the time. Being run out of town like that.

i think kylington is better served playing big minutes in stockton than sitting in the pressbox in calgary. we just need a warm body to fill in until valimaki is healthy

We need a 7th. If Stone is in, Kylington should play top minutes for Stockton.
