Yeah, it's not everybody yet, but more players have brought it tonight, including Gio, Backlund, Tkachuk and Janko.

Gaudreau isn't being a liability and is getting takeaways, just needs to do better things with the puck.

It's coming around....slowly.

Jankowski is pretty much a copy of Colborne and Bouwmeester when they played with the Flames. All that size and does absolutely nothing with it and can't make the obvious plays. Frustrating.

Win or lose that’s the effort we need and can be proud of.

Did we even have a high quality scoring chance that period?

Why can't these guys just make plays? Hold onto it over the line, make a move into open ice, drive the net. It looks like they're looking around for the perfect open teammate, its not going to happen, its the playoffs. You have to create your own space!!

Better period in terms of gap control and being defensively responsible.

Generating next to nothing in terms of quality chances. Hopefully they got that out of their system and can just play relaxed hockey from here on out.

Brodie has actually been quite good so far tonight

I'd love to see Dube in his spot if he doesn't start showing something

He has to realize he's not playing at the College level. He just needs a confidence boost, and to get out of his own head.

It's incredibly weird. He basocally seems unable to adjust his pace of play to deal with the speed and more importantly the transition that's going on.

It probably has something to do with him being used to controlling the flow of play when he has the puck. He seems to expect that when he tries to slow the game down, the game will oblige him... because usually, it does. But the Avs are not cooperating and he has to adjust and just play faster. He is fully capable. Karlsson had the same issue in his first couple of seasons but figured it out.

Far from over but not good enough for a must win game at this point.

Peters better get this cleaned up
Not enough lowering the boom in hockey anymore, unfortunately.

Too many of their good looks versus perimeter looks of ours. If that stays the same they will score and we won’t.
