no finish or intensity, some dumb hockey and a bad line change

We are playing down to their level. Sens know they're in for it and are collapsing everything. Frustrating as hell.

We played well in the first and like the first half of the 2nd. Then we gave up a goal and started looking pretty bad.

Lots of zone time but no finish. First line weak again. TJ caused another goal against.
But I have some good whiskey. Royal Salute 21 years, that calm me down a bit

Flames are all over them, just being too cute with the puck. In great shooting areas with open lanes and they are making a pass or shooting for the tip.

It's what they've always done on Sunday nights. Something different and I don't mind it, and you can turn it off.
We really need to hear Colby Armstrong scolding Brodie for the goal and then praising the Sens defense? Because that's the extent of the analysis.

This is why I can’t stand games on Sunday and sportsnet. As we are force fed about kids/towns/cities and families/kids/minor hockey that I couldn’t care less about. Yes, this would include Okotoks and the Calgary area/region. What a waste.
The only saving grace this week was on Ryan from the Humboldt team. I can handle that story.
Show me analysis or other games highlights.

CGY are playing pretty well IMO. Loads of zone time but it seems difficult to get shots through. However they have had good looks but either aren't ready for it or miss the net/flub the chance.
They just need to stick with it.

This is one the Gulutzan era Flames would find a way to lose. Let’s see if Peters has them ready to go here in the third.

The Tkachuk's grandma next. Waiting to hear from the Tkachuk's dog after that.

Expecting a strong 3rd. Agreed the Flames just need to bang more pucks at Anderson and get a greasy goal.

Don't worry about it, I woke the frog up for the third. We will destroy them.

Glad you enjoy it but I would like someone actually talking about the key points in the game and storylines for the next period. I agree that Sportsnet needs a proper flames panel in the intermissions.
Break this stuff out into its own show (that would be cancelled in a couple months lol). But I am just a total flames Homer... Everything else is the hockey world is a distant second.

Gio's also been real quiet lately. Need him to go beast mode, especially with Burns pulling away on the Norris race
