Yeah this.
I have watched a few (5 or 6) Hurricanes games this year and came away thinking "that's a good team who just don't seem to win much".
Maybe they're just a Lindholm, Hanifin, Ryan and Peters away from making some noise.
Plus a goofy Czech goalie who came out of nowhere. There's got to be loads of those.

Is it worth it for the Flames organization to start up an Easton factory so James Neal can have his old stick back?

Ferland won't return tonight
Michael Smith @MSmithCanes
Ferland has an upper-body injury and will not return to tonight's game.
He missed Sunday's game with an upper-body injury, as well.

Feels like the Flames have been fighting the ice and bouncing puck all night.
Calgary prefers a nice passing play that falls apart when everything bounces, whereas turnovers and quick shots benefit Carolina's style of everything on net from anywhere.

Is back considered upper body? I thought he had back issues.

Depends on if it's upper or lower back.

Ferland as a rental would be huge for a lot of teams. In his short career so far, he's made a name as a playoff beast.

Good timing for a game against the caps. Top scorer in the league will be watching from the press box

The Flames haven't been bad so much as the Canes have been good.

Well, 2 bad periods so far, might as well have a good one now.

Cassie, you HAVE to stop talking if a 2 on 1 occurs. You can't just speak through it like it's not happening just because you had prepared to tell a story.

I love that those floaters from our zone that hit the hurricanes net count as shots.
