the thing is, how can we not suspect you of being scum when your play is clearly different from the times you played as town? You say it yourself, you've played differently.

For me, it's still the sequence on day 1 that makes me think you could be an Oiler. Losing an Oiler on day 1 is a really rough start for them, so I expect a bit of scramble in that situation. Your agulati play was not that far fetched, mind you - him following diss did look a bit shady.

If you were mafia, taking out bizaro would have been a solid play. You'd know that you'd be under scrutiny today after Bondeds cardflip and losing 2 Oilers on the first 2 days would be a disaster for them, so choosing one who takes a bit of heat off you makes sense. biz is a strong player, and of course mafia knew we'd go look for posts of him which give us a clue. So you choose bizaro, who thought you leaned town. You even quote the post as "most relevant biz post" (404).

maybe you're town and just muddied the water this time. But at this point, how can we not consider you a strong lynch candidate? You'd yourself jump at a player with that kind of day 1/2, I'm sure.

solid logic, unless there's more than one newbie in your group. Possible. Based on day 1 voting, I think Scorn and Fuzz are town. WinnipegFan has really irked my with his play so far, but I'm leaning towards inexperienced/emotional town right now. That leaves crazy_eoj, who's been flying under the radar so far.

at this point I'd vote GGG for sure, but I don't want to set up the hammer just yet.

Convenient, as I actually want to come off him but don't want to put us below the lynch threshold for deadline.

Weekends are bad for me to be on here much. During the last night period as I was reading through the posts I also thought something was definitely off with GGGs posts. I think we have to lynch him next if everyone is seeing the same things?

Can’t ignore the fact so many are leaning the same direction.

He's dominating too much of the conversation. We don't set ourselves up very well for the rest of the game if today is all about GGG. My vote is now available to support a quality competing theory, should one develop.

While I still have cause to distrust GGG, I also have reasons to buy his defence: one is something that he would not want to admit, and the other is something that I am reluctant to disclose, as it could inform mafia strategy.

12 hours before deadline. Only 60 posts between all of us. I can't believe people can't find a few minutes to post much. Drop it and EOJ only have 1 comment. Even WF has more comments with 4. And (surprise) GGG has the most with 11. With a possible hammer happening on GGG before the deadline I find the lack of chat disturbing. I said I would be willing to vote GGG, but I just don't think I have enough dialogue that's happened to process any other option. Except for maybe HG?
Any help?

now that crazy_eoj voted GGG as well, we do have set up hammer, which I wanted to avoid. So I'll remove my vote for now. No reason to set up hammer already, there's still time for discussion.

Crap! I didn't read that we only need 1 to hammer GGG now!
I don't feel comfortable being hammer. I would rather have myself as a "no-vote" than be that person.

What a terrible Saturday. Sorry all.

The GGG thing is interesting and makes a lot of sense. Good on Diss for putting that together. I haven't played Mafia too much, but if GGG does flip Oiler fan I'd be surprised given how great his gameplay has been perceived.

I think what isnt garnering a lot of attention is the night kill of Biz, which has been mentioned to be an odd choice since he may have had a target on him.

This screams to me a combination of killing off an experienced player, as has been pointed out, and a frame job. He had votes out on MRK and Scorn, as well as and Agulati alliance.

With Scorn and Agulati out of the woods (imo) I think my radar turns to MrK as he was in on the vote with Bonded for Agulati

I think this is a fair statement given the way it played out. However beginning the game I think my play was in the best interest of the town it just didn’t work out.

Crazyeoj is the other one who seems like mafia as well, not much from he said but the timing of his Agualti vote. It was all even at 4 and his vote potentially tipped the scales away from Bonded at a critical time

Given the deadline is today I think we have two options one is lynch me and the other is a lurker.

This Lurker lynch only makes sense if you think it’s necessary to have more time to make the decision to lynch me. It’s not a great play either as we are lynching becuas of lurking and nothing else. So if we flip him we get a flip on a person who is not contributing that likely becomes a distraction tomorrow when the debate centres around should we lynch lurkers and if so which one.

So in an attempt to save myself I will be voting for EOJ. It’s him or Winnipeg and Winnipeg appears to be starting to contribute. I’m out until about 6 today so if there is consensus by then to lynch me I’d like to make one more post but would prefer not to be lynched before then.

Bah - this just stinks. I totally agree with Pux that there is virtually no conversation going on that isn't directed against GGG. There has been a few posts since Pux mentioned this, but it's just so quiet. I really think the Oilers are playing quiet today hoping for no real conversation and just letting GGG get banned without having to do much at all.

I think the night kill of Bizaro has been completely overlooked so far. I'm glad DropIt brings it up (even though it puts on the focus on me) as it seems the Oilers just got a free ban and no one is really analyzing why it happened. If nothing of any further consequence happens today, I'm concerned the kill of Bizaro will be completely overlooked with information from two new bans available for discussion. Would really like some further opinions on the bizaro ban now - its really helpful down the road to see early theories on items as you can sometimes see people knowing too much in early days, but it is only caught through hindsight. By no one talking about the Bizaro kill, we lose that advantage.

Are we really going to let GGG off the hook? He is the most thourough player in this game and he’s made 2 big slips with his missed vote count and comment about Sebs vote. That isn’t something he does, ever. When Bonded was getting in trouble he comes out with a full court press to try and take the heat off him.

He isn’t even “death posting” like he normally would. I would have expected him to give us a recap to what his theory was for the remaining people so if he does get banned we will be able to have a clean record of it instead of having to peice it together after the fact. Flames fan GGG would be trying to help us till the end.
