I’m actually leaning towards Giordano. We’ve been so lucky to have him. Played his whole career here is a heart and soul guy, probably the hardest working Flame IMO (always comes in fit). Always has a great attitude. Captain, unreal even as he ages. Guy is amazing.
Unlikely he’ll play for another team.
Best Dman in franchise history? Has that chance not sure id put him there yet. Probably starting to be in the conversation though but the team needs to win a little more under his watch I guess.
But love him as a player and think we are so fortunate to have had him here all these years. Does everything well and makes those around him better (Brodie?).

i love both players but i would go with tkachuk just becuz sooooo many fans from other teams hate the guy - so it's just fun to bug other fans.
kinda like how i've loathed the canucks forever... but i really couldn't stand burrows.... it's just a whole other level of dislike!

Yay, I'm very happy the Flames will be looking good for 12 games this year. Hopefully this is the start of bringing them back as the main jersey.

I have always like these jerseys for many reasons.
It's simple, it's historic, and it just works.
There are a lot of NHL teams with red/white/black designs: Ottawa, Calgary, New Jersey, Carolina, Chicago, Detroit. Montreal, Washington, and Columbus also have red.
The red/yellow scheme is unique, and it's unique in a good way.

They missed a real marketing opportunity to debut these in China to promote the team there and drum up some hype and demand at home in Calgary. I thought they were waiting to debut these in Canada with an introduction press conference with Neal, Lindholm and Hanifin but they didn't even do that. They just threw the jersey on the table and took a few pics for a twitter video... It would be sweet to see all of the fans in retros for the home opener if the China games were used to promote the sales of Jerseys at home.
Anyways, they look good and I should stop complaining because it could've been much worst (I'm looking at all of you clamoring for the horse head jersey lol)
