Gillies: NCAA Champ, WJC Gold medal (backup)
Parsons: Memorial Cup Champ, WJC Gold medal
Of course, both goalies will probably bust and Mason McDonald will win the Vezina in 2021/22...

Well Canada did better than I thought they would this year. That said, Strome and Dubois are two of the most disappointing 19 years old I've seen Canada bring to this tournament. N

They relaxed after going up 4-2 and gave up another two goal lead. No matter how evenly matched the teams were that's still choking.

Charlie McAvoy looks like he eats plenty of peanut butter. Fingers full of peanut butter.

Great game to watch.
Bottom line is you can't give up two 2 goal leads and expect much.

Parson's playing like an absolute beast and Fox chalking up 3 assists (the 3rd of which was an incredibly smart, heads up play) takes the sting out of Canada losing.

Anyone else see Parsons give the camera a kiss at the end? I was so stoked on Parsons even though Canada didn't win, but I seriously cringed. Buddy relax. Show some class. You're representing your country and the Calgary Flames.

Dubios doesn't turn 19 until the summer. He's still eligible for next years tournament.

No, that's losing a lead. Apart from the overwhelming energy of the first period tailing off in the second, both teams played pretty consistently the whole game.

That's pretty incredible that Parsons has 22 straight wins in 'big' games - OHL playoffs, Memorial Cup and World Jrs.
