That might be the first time Mason Raymond has done something positive since his goal on that Eastern trip.

As one of his biggest critics last season, I have to give him some credit. David Jones has had a solid bounce back season. He's been a quality third liner all year. He's even managed to stay healthy for the most part.

My guess is they are keeping bouma out. Gut shot plus pain can mean a spleen in the worst case. People can die.

My main concern would be more of a broken rib. Some players can play through it, Bouma being one I'd imagine could. But a pneumo ('collapsed lung') would be the most threatening. Of course there's plenty other it could be, but that's what I've seen most in hockey

Not necessarily true. The Flames could lose to LA and Winnipeg and still make it if LA loses to the sharks in their last game and the Oil somehow manage to hang on tonight.

I think they'd need to win their last two and we'd need to lose them both :/

Arizona just pack it in. This game means nothing to you and golf season is closing in. Don't need any unnessesary injuries before you start playing. Relax and grab a few brewskis!

I believe he would be first to play. Bennet is good but completely against what Bobs motto is.

I think it's Shore over Bennett if Bouma is out. Especially against LA

Most broken ribs are suffered during body checks as the ribs are compressed past their flexibility point. It's pretty rare to have it happen blocking a shot, but it could happen I guess.
