Bouma fell on his own but Benn flopped like a fish there. Watch the replay, there is no stick in his legs.

I would say the officiating is fine, and I don't normally say that about the refs. Flames are undisciplined and playing sloppy. People complaining about the Diaz call have some serious homer glasses on.

Or it was obvious to everyone it was a dive.

Likely Engelland's fault somehow.

I saw the initial replay from the angle up the boards from the Flames end. Looked to me like Diaz had one hand on his stick, and it was between Benn's legs.

Legit call, IMO.

Not sure what game you are watching. There has been many soft calls and several missed ones that were blatant on both sides. Nothing to do with discipline. Just more typical inconsistent NHL officiating.

In the context of how the games been called up to that point, it was a brutal call.

Well I'm happy for the rock in your garden, Calgary had all the momentum and Diaz took a bad penalty because he is too slow to make decisions.

I guess Diaz is a lot like your rock.

Except the multiple Flame fans who have disagreed.

Diaz got his stick into the legs of Benn and the speeding Benn fell down, like usually happens.

Well, the heart attack kids strike again.

In a weird way it would almost feel more comfortable to be down by 2 instead of one going into the third.

Watch when Raymond got tripped, he tries to swipe at the puck, he is looking toward the play. Benn goes down and immediately he is looking at an official to see if they bought it, a good sign of a dive.

I can't help but laugh so much at the third goal the Avs scored and how terrible Shultz is. So funny. E=NG

Didn't realize you get to decide these things.

I thought he dove, and that even if you want to lay blame it was an extremely borderline call. Then the same play happens a minute later with Bouma, and no call.

Typical, inconsistent NHL officiating.

Ok, well we will agree to disagree. I have watched the replay like 6 times on pvr, to me it is a pretty obvious dive.

That was a really bad read by Brodie. His decision making has been off lately.
