Well, it's never going to be 100%. How many of those calls matter one way or the other? And what good does it do when the play is already stopped?

Not that I would be opposed to the idea really, I just don't see a need for the change.

One important thing to remember is that FIFA is trying to keep the game as close to the same everywhere as they can. This in part means that they don't want expensive technology in stadiums, because not all leagues can afford them.

Maybe it's romantic, but I think it's a worthy goal.

Besides, keeping it as simple as possible has worked for soccer for a very long time. I don't think making changes for marginal improvements is not worth it.
