It's nothing like that. All the players you just compared are centers - you can never have too many centers. Good teams are built on good centers. Good teams are not built on smaller, highly skilled wingers.
The Oilers screwed up in drafting both Hall and Yakupov.
They should have drafted Seguin and Galchenyuk or Seguin and Murray. Centers and D are far more important than wingers. You can say "well in hindsight, yes" but no, not even in hindsight. When you have a winger and a center, or a winger and defenseman that are very close, you draft the center or you draft the defenseman. That's how you build a team.
