That's absolutely the reason. Nobody asks the city to bring their property assessment into accurate market values of they are undervalued.
An increase of the magnitude indicates it was quite undervalued, perhaps for quite some time, so #22, is likely quite ahead in terms of dollars saved.
If in fact, it's overvalued to the market, he simply appeals.

How about poo-tin instead of poo-teen. Even that is much better.

Get used to it. Changing your windshield in Calgary is a yearly thing or you just blend in with 95% of Albertans and drive with a cracked windshield. The truck I bought at the beginning of winter had a brand new windshield installed. A coupel months later it already has a couple cracks which will be worse by summer.

Nah. That's what you say, because they don't. If they were, you'd get fed up just as well.

How do you spell and pronounce routine? There is a reason it's pronounced Roo-teen. Poutine should be poo-teen as well.

In the proper french pronounciation it's poot-sin. It's kind of like calling Scallops ,Scallops (as the word appears it should be pronounced) But you'd lose one of your testies if you don't pronounce it Scollops out east.

We are in Alberta where the French aren't relevant. Another reason why Quebec should separate. Nothing would make me happier if Quebec was its own country. They can order all the Poutine they want there and pronounce it the way god never intended.

Yes, Quebec should separate because people there pronounce poutine - a dish that was invented there, mind you - differently than those of us in Alberta. I hear they also call their hockey team the Canadiens instead of Canadians! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE?!?!

I can confirm that there is an enormous difference in the way poutine is pronounced between Southern and Eastern Ontario.

On my last 3 trips to Montreal, in the last 7 months, I was told it's pronounced "poo-tin."
"Tell them that in Alberta!"

Tell Quebec it's "quarter pounder with cheese" and NOT "royale with cheese"
