Man, I just watched the Star Wars trailer then came to this... terrible!
But one is a trailer and the other at trailer for a trailer.. geez who is making these, Xzibit?

Monday will be a good day but I am all about the Star Wars right now, fricken awesome.

Ugh I am so sick of the ridiculous overly dramatic tone drop in every trailer for action movies these days. Yes it was cool there for a while but it’s time to move on.
Pretty disappointed in this trailer (for a trailer??). At this point Star Wars is far superior in their marketing approach.
To each his own, I guess. The Khal Aquaman costume (pic) looks great and the general reception of it was very positive. It's too bad if you don't like it, but you seem to be in a small minority.

people can't compare the Star Wars trailer to the BvS leaked footage because, 1: It's the first look, the new Star Wars was epic but this was along the same lines of the first Star Wars teaser. All visuals with narration. 2: It was leaked. I couldn't see what half of the shots were.
But I thought the trailer was good for being 11 months away. It gives a tease of the continuation of the universe and I like the tones it hit. Raising questions about who he is and can we control him. I'm glad they didn't show WW, Aquaman or Cyborg. I thought it was a good first trailer
If anybody is interested, a kind of blurry version of the trailer has leaked online.
Good peek into the potential storyline angle, also a revisit of Zack Snyder's visual style. Hopefully Chris Terrios script can elevate Snyder's visual style.
And it sounds like we won't be getting Bale voice, but actual voice modification tech.
At least while he is in that suit, might be different under his normal cowl.
I thought the full version was pretty good, it is hard to get into it like that when the quality is so bad. Kind of wish I would have waited, but we all know that wasn't an option.
Gives us a bit more insight into what is going to happen, but one of those voices sounded like a Luthor and as expected he is trying to pit the two against each other. Looks like that is how the story will start.
Very dark though, I think maybe a bit to dark... but we will see. Batman at its core is very gritty and I have always loved the authentic Batman stories a lot more than what we see on the big screen. The last time we saw an accurate Bruce Wayne was Micheal Keaton, excited to see what Affleck does with it. A good Batman/Superman story will have a contrast in grit vs. purity, but if they just do both dark then we have a problem.. and Superman already killed someone so I guess that is out the window.
Edit: I swear I hear Neil deGrasse Tyson in there as well.

I absolutely LOVE the darker tones that DC sets in it's films in contrast to the colorful, teenage dream thing Marvel has going on. I think it's great that the 2 great comic houses give us 2 very different takes and tones on their super hero films. That leaked trailer was exactly what I expected and completely epic. Batman looks like a monster.

Even those blurry screen grabs look great. I just finished the first two volumes of Injustice: Gods Among Us. It's great prep for a Batman v Superman style of movie.
Watched the leaked trailer....still not sold that this is the right story to tell.
How do we get from the end of Man of Steel that was really his first introduction....to Superman being loved and having a statue....to him now being a "false god" hated by all and in a fued with Batman.
Just seems like a lot to cover in a 2 hour movie (that will need to set up the Justice League).
Batman looked great, and I liked what he was saying but just not sure about the story here.

that's a great teaser now seeing it in HD. It's not as good as the Star Wars trailer #2, I liked it better than the first Star Wars teaser. I liked the tones and the basic plot. There were some great lines in it.
I loved the tone and the short bit of Batman. It's clear that this is based off of The Dark Knight Returns which is probably the greatest graphic novel of all time. And I got from this teaser a bit from what that graphic novel had, Batman strikes terror into criminals. He'll send people to therapy running into them.
Seeing as this is one of the most anticipated movies of all time, this teaser for a movie 11 months away is great
