Apparently Baines isn't keen unless Evra is gone. I'm ok with that, quickly sell him to Monaco.

well I'm happy to wait until he's fit so we'll see what Moyes' plans are. So far, Chicharito has been excellent for United both on and off the pitch. I'm always a bit sorry for him when he's on the bench because he's a fantastic striker and he probably deserves more playing time, but there has never been any trouble with him. He has been linked with numerous clubs this and last summer (Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and others), and he has always said that he wants to stay and make it at United - can't see how an offer from Tottenham would change that. Plus United would surely be ... let's say "reluctant" to sell. 100 % sure he'll stay.

He's our super sub; ala Solksjaer. I'd like to know what his goals per minute is, for games where he's been subbed in. Must be top of the heap.

I'm not. I'm of the mindset of could care less whether Baines arrives or not, particularly if it means Evra leaving. Evra had a solid season last year and has started well this year, as well as appearing to be a popular and respected member of the squad. I just don't see Baines being a significant upgrade.

Eriksen and Lamela would be great pick ups for Spurs.
Both are only 21 years old and already have a wealth of big game and international experience. Plus they have yet to enter their prime, so you would think they are only going to get better.

Kevin Prince Boateng leaves AC Milan for Schalke.
Quote:
Schalke have confirmed the signing of midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng from AC Milan on a four-year deal.

Kind of surprising seeing as he just played for AC against PSV this week and scored two goals to get them into the group stages. And apparently he isnt cup-tied either.
Its being implied that they sold Boateng so they could buy Kaka once Bale moves to Madrid.

I don't get this move at all ... really surprising both by KPB and Milan. Why would Boateng go to a club that has NO chance of winning a title soon, and why would Milan sell him and replace him with Matri for the same amount of money? Just makes no sense at all. Klopp's reaction at a Dortmund press conference yesterday was priceless, as he coached Boateng during a loan-spell at Dortmund a few years ago and the two still have contact. Klopp said something like "My son texted me about it first and I couldn't believe it. I sent a text to Kevin 'Schalke?????????', but he hasn't answered yet. But he is - well, he was! - a really nice guy."
Oh, and if I have to read "Tottenham sign ..." once more this summer, I'll fly to London and have a huge dump right in front of WHL. Seriously, enough.

I think you'll be ok
the only thing for Levy/Baldini left to do is not confirm the Bale deal until there's not enough time for Man Utd/Arsenal to buy Di Maria

Don't think that really matters, every man and his dog knows Levy isn't going to pull out now, never mind hold Real Madrid to ransom.
