I was at Deerfoot Meadows last night and they had a few Iggy Retro jerseys, but the price was ~$129.
I found a blank medium retro for the $35, and I had a $20 promo card, so I got it for $16. Pretty decent!
Mostly larges and XL left. Can call the store and ask them to put one away for you until you can get there if you know your size.

I didn't even see the retro Iggi's there, where were they hanging?
I also settled for a plain retro.... had a 20% off coupon and a $20 gift card so I paid $9.xx for it haha. Steal of the century.

They were on the sportchek side towards the back of the store, separate from the plain retros for some reason.
And you're right, $9 for a retro jersey is pretty much the steal of the century. I was afraid they weren't going to let me use the Promo card, paying $16 bucks for a jersey that normally sells for $100+ seems a little odd.

So I've noticed someone has already mentioned that FanAttic will do professional name/number stitching for $80. Can anyone else recommend any other places that do it with the same level (or better) of professionalism and cost?

Thanks for the heads up on this, picked up my first jersey in about 10 years. Crowfoot Sportcheck still has a handful left.

Professionalism is through the roof for a slightly higher cost then Fan Attic. They do the proper sewn letters as well.

The Flames red/black home jerseys introduced in 2003 looked so much better before the Reebok/piping/flag patches:
versus...
As it stands now, I'd rather have the retro jerseys as the permanent home jerseys.

It needs to be these, plain and simple. If not Zarley needs to be hired as a consultant.

I may be in the minority, but i like the Reebok edge version much better. However I'd be completely okay with retros as our home/away set. (If they made the home retro the shade of the 2010 retros that is)

So, after a bit of soulsearching, I have determined that the name/number going on the back of my newly discounted retro is going to be TJ Brodie. Because I have thrown myself firmly in the camp of 'Brodie is our #1 D' and even mentioned on the Fireside Chat podcast (shameless plug) that he is my choice for captain if we absolutely must bestow the C on someone this year.
So, money wear my mouth is. Welcome to the back of my shirt, Brodie #7.
And if I listen very closely, I can hear the familiar sound of nobody caring. Thank you and goodnight.

Hmmmm interesting, but a little to busy for my taste. I'm not one of the people who hated the horse head jersey so I'd be alright with another "equestrian" type design but I think they can still do much much better. My main reason for wanting a secondary logo is mainly to put those on the shoulders of the regular jerseys and lose those stupid flags. I seem to remember someone making a pretty stellar logo incorporating the Calgary Tower. That might be an interesting idea.

Love it, although those 3rd jerseys could stand to be a bit simpler, I think.

So I just went to the Deerfoot Meadows Sportchek to look for a medium jersey, but they only had XL left... But then I saw the mannequin on the top shelf was wearing a medium so managed to get that!

Picked up a couple of jerseys at Sportchek in Lethbridge today. Still a rack left with a good selection of sizes.
