Won't let me click on pg 23.

Can anyone figure out total stats from around the all-star break last year and see where EE ranks among the leaders?

This is before the Rangers series so the numbers are even strong but since the all star break . 294 with 17 homers, 55 RBIs and a .370 OBP

The BlueJays have had the best defensive infield in MLB so far this season statistically in terms of runs prevented.

Where does that rank among the leaders? AL or NL

There's been alot of talk that the Twins can't move Morneau's contract but I'd almost like to see the Jays take on a big chunk of it if Minnesota would take Lind. Poor Lind is becoming this year's whipping boy but it's well deserved so far, he looks hopeless at the plate.

Morneau has not been much better but I think his upside is way higher and I think the time is right for the change of scenery thing for Lind because he's about 2 weeks away from getting booed at home.

Edit - scratch that, I just read about his wonky wrist on top of his concussions... doesn't look anywhere near healthy.

As Ken Rosenthal pointed they will proceed from there and Adam Lind is now on notice. Edwin Encarnacion can play 1B.

Mixed feelings on it but glad I'm going to get the chance to see my all time favorite player in Canada again. He was amazing to watch with the Expos.

Jays needed a guy who could hit for power off the bench. None of Francisco, Davis, Vizquel or Mathis can do it. Vladdy can, and as a bonus, can help draw Expos fans to the RC.

Don't think this is about pressuring Lind, though. He deserves it, but Vlad isn't the answer there. I think AA has something else up his sleeve there, but we'll all need to wait and see what that might be.

Seems like a low risk high reward kind of signing. He wasn't awful for the Orioles last season and was really good for the Rangers two seasons ago, offensively.

Vladdy was my favorite player when I was younger, I wanted an Expos jersey for my 8th birthday so bad but my mom couldn't find one. By that time, he was already in Anaheim. It was real crappy though, because the Expos were my favorite team and they ended up moving that year. My mom tried to find one on sale for Christmas 2004 but I was still really sad. At that point I stopped caring about baseball until about 3 years ago when my cousins got me cheering for the Twins. I don't care if they're the Washington Nationals now, I'll always consider myself an Expos fan.

I don't think this is a move that's going to lead to another move, or that AA is going to be busy the next few weeks. There is no market for trades right now, everyone is still trying to find out what they have in certain players. AA leaves no stone unturned, and this is as low risk as you can get, seeing what you can get out of Vlad.

The Expos died that last game Vs the Marlins. As a lifetime Expos fan, I don't consider the Washington Nationals to be anything but another Major League team, that Jeffery Loria is responsible for. I despise them

The bomb at the very beginning is the only thing worth seeing in the vid.

One of my favourite Expos in the later years, and from all accounts a really good guy. Never any poor attitude like similar sluggers from that era like Albert Belle, Bonds, McGwire and Thomas had at some point in their careers, either when they were at the top of their game, or holding on at the end of their careers.

And yeah, some power off the bench would be nice.

I would easily give you 10 thanks just for the music alone.

According to major league sources, at least one club — the Toronto Blue Jays — already has engaged in dialogue with the Phils about their top potential free agents, left-hander Cole Hamels and Shane Victorino.

Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos routinely inquires on star players, just as he did last offseason when he talked to the Seattle Mariners about right-handers Felix Hernandez and Michael Pineda.

As per MLBTradeRumors.com - Anthopolous has inquired on Hamels/Victorino in Philadelphia. Doesn't seem out of the norm for AA, guy always seems to have a pulse on what clubs are doing.

EDIT - too slow
