The Red Wedding will shock everyone who hasn't read the book. Hope they do it right.
But so much happens in ASOS that I can't believe so much awesomeness can exist.
And what is still the biggest moment for me:

And there's still Jaime's arc, Stannis showing up at the wall and Daenery's grabbing an army and taking names. My favourite though would be Artsan Whitebeard reveal, I loved it.

I think the TV viewers are going to get tired of Dany sitting in Mereen forever after burning through the first couple of cities. Kinda hope they change things for the show in that regard, all through book 5 all I could think during her chapters was "Let's get on with it already"

For sure, it was awesome in A Storm of Swords, she takes on Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen in it while all this other amazing stuff is going down.
And then she gets a book more dedicated to her and she decides that's a good time to sit down and dream about dreamy sellswords.
I'd imagine they spread out the conquering of the 3 cities to give her a bit better pace instead of just driving the viewers insane waiting for her to get out of Meereen but they did pass through Astapor real quickly as well.

I can't wait to see the duel between The Mountain and my favourite all time character The Red Viper.
But that will have to wait till next season I believe... nooo!!!

I'm rusty in my book timeline knowledge, so do you think we'll see the Tyrion-Sansa wedding this season or does that happen after the RW?

I'm a bit rusty myself - but I think it happens after the RW? Not sure if we'll see it by the end of the season or not.

Hmm, I was thinking the season finale would be pretty epic if it was the Tyrion-Sansa wedding in the first half and then the RW (with other stuff in between filling it out nicely).
Still can't wait for the reaction in the TV only thread.

It does. I remember Catelyn worrying that Tyrion would give Sansa a son.

After consulting the internet, it looks like the red wedding is chapter 51 and Joffreys wedding is chapter 60. I bet this season will end with the red wedding, with the hound swinging his axe at Arya, leaving us all to think she is dead.

Definitely before. Tywin tells Tyrion he has to get Sansa pregnant, and Tyrion asks him if he thinks she will most fertile before or after he tells her they killed her brother.

Well the title of the last episode of this season is "The Rains of Castermere" so I think it is a safe bet they are ending it with the Red Wedding. I agree that it would be best to do it just like the book, the 1-2 punch and then leave the viewer thinking that Arya just bit it too-fade to black and then throw this picture up on the screen before the credits roll:

"Rains of Castamere" is actually episode 9. Episode 10 will probably be more of a set-up episode for season 4. I suspect the season will end with the reveal that Catelyn has been resurrected.

I stand corrected then, could have sworn it was to be the finale. I'm kind of bummed out that it is not the finale, would be soooooo much better that way.

I think this season will end with Sansa's Wedding to Tyrion and I'm guessing next season will end with Tyrion dealing with Tywin.
I'm not sure how they will deal with Lady Stoneheart. In the books it is via a story that we learn where she came from. I suppose we may see it in the correct chronology in the show.

I question that synopsis; unless things are radically changing, Melisandre and Gendry don't meet.
Sure Melisandre and Thoros both worship R'hllor, but they haven't crossed paths in the books (as far as I remember).

It's definitely a change from the books but in one of the trailers there is a clip of Melisandre and Thoros talking.
