Woohoo! Thank you Dallas! Playoffs baby!!!
I can't see the Whitecaps doing much (any) damage, but nice to make the post season none the less.

fyp and congraz to the first Canadian MLS team to make the playoffs. Hopefully they can beat or do some damage to both the Galaxy and then San Jose.

The Whitecaps have sure limped into the playoffs, but I'm glad that their first half of the season was good enough to clinch it for them.
It looks like the path to the finals (dare to dream!) must go through Los Angeles in the 4th/5th wildcard, then a home-and-home with San Jose, then a home-and-home with the winner of Seattle/Salt Lake. Considering Vancouver's recent form, the task is even tougher. It is still a great accomplishment to be in the playoffs, and you never know what might happen.

Big game for Canadian soccer tonight.
If the Whitecaps can hold off the inevitable barrage for the first 15/30 minutes, they just may put enough doubt in the Galaxy's mind to pull off a huge upset.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy have had the Whitecap's number so rope-a-dope boys and counter with Mattocks/Richards.

A roster of mostly Americans and Frenchmen, with no Canadians. I'll be going for the Galaxy. If that means cheering for Becks and Landycakes then so be it.

Normally I'd agree with you, but there are Canadians on the Whitecaps roster, but the 2 that have played are 19 years old. Not enough, but still more than the Galaxy.
Personally, I don't think the Caps have a shot at beating LA but they played them tough in their match in August.

The Whitecaps are the closet thing we have to a "home" team, so I'll be cheering for them regardless of where their players are from. If the Flames were loaded with Finns, Czechs, Swedes, Americans, etc. we'd still cheer for them.
I'd love to see more Canadians in the lineup, and eventually that will happen through their academy program. Until then, they've got to put the best team they can out there, regardless of nationality.
I've got my brown 3rd jersey on and waiting for this Toronto-Hamilton game to end! 5 penalties on one play? They're really doing what they can to drag this out.

The stunned look at halftime on his majesty's face was priceless.
Whitecaps are full value in that first half but the Galaxy are guilty of underestimating.

Damn, so close to going up 2-0 right before that goal.
We are really in trouble without Demeritt now.

Ahh typical caps fashion. Miss a great opportunity than give up a goal then give up a pk. They probably won't get 2 shots on net from 77 min on

Inevitable. You can't try to hang on for that long and give the opposition so much of an edge in ball possession. I hate it when teams do that.
