Steve Nash flops just as much as James. Won't ever win at the level that James already has. So I am confused how Nash isn't a loser either. You can not like James I understand that, because I don't, but calling him a loser is ridiculous. He has everything but the ring and will have one of those before he is done. The fact of the matter is most of the best players in the league have crappy attitudes. There are fewer who have good attitudes than don't. Durant, Joe Johnson, Rose, Love... that's about it.

I'm guessing Amare was wishing he was punching Melo in the face. I loved Melo at one point in time but he's clearly one of the most selfish guys in the league and probably one of the five worst defensive players in the league.

And without him the Knicks would have lost by 50. There's a reason that team is better when Amare is out. This might actually give them a chance to push the series to 5 or 6.

Gregg Popovich deservedly named coach of the year
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/78...nba-coach-year
No disrespect to Phil Jackson, but Popovich is the best coach ever in my opinion.

Interesting that a youtube search for "Steve Nash Flop" comes up with pretty much nothing then. You'd think a guy on the "All flop team" would have at least a couple of clips out there, wouldn't you?
Now LeBron on the other hand

Its way more fun to search "Lebron Travels". A good number of examples of some of horrific NBA officiating, like travelling might as well not be in the book. Just searching "NBA travelling" is fun for many laughs too.

Well it does pull up the Robert Horry playoff incident. Now that was obviously a foul, but Nash acted like he was shot. Here's him admitting to embellishing:

I am not sure that you tubes videos are the best way to judge how often a person does/doesn't flop. Especially when the two people are the most polarizing guy in the league that certain people likely spend large parts of their days trying to discredit and the other is Nash, who while talented, is likely irrelevant to many fans outside of Canada at this point.

I don't completely disagree, but even a google search come sup with pretty much nothing regarding Nash and flopping outside of the Horry play. As I said previously, I can think of a couple of pretty egregious examples from LeBron in one game this week. The claim that Sowa made was ridiculous, plain and simple.

Amare may have locked up dumbass of the year award,
Quote:
A league source said Tuesday afternoon that New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire is expected to miss the remainder of the Knicks' first-round series with the Miami Heat after badly cutting his hand hitting a fire extinguisher case in a hallway of American Airlines Arena after Miami's 104-94 Game 2 victory.
Stoudemire cut his left hand on the metal and glass box in which the extinguisher was encased, and received stitches in the Knicks' locker room afterward. He left the arena Monday night with his left arm in a sling.
According to the team, Stoudemire was seen by a hand specialist this afternoon at the Hospital for Special Surgery. The surgeon repaired a small muscle. He will not play Game 3 on May 3 and is listed as doubtful for Game 4 on May 6.
The Knicks played most of the second half of the regular season without Stoudemire, who suffered from a bulging disk in his lower back March 24 and missed 13 games down the stretch before returning for the Knicks' final four regular season games.
He had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the Game 2 loss. Game 3 is Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden.
Without Stoudemire, the Knicks have played Carmelo Anthony at power forward and used J.R. Smith and Steve Novak at the small forward position.

You think there is a ton hate or love for Nash with the average American Basketball fan?
Enough that they would go out and create you tube videos to show him flopping?
I am sure they respect his skill but no way do they have strong feelings like they do with Lebron.
But overreact as you always do, I am sure there is someone in the Jays thread not saying the Jays are awesome that you have to freak out on.

He's been talked about all season by the American media and his free agency is a huge deal to the entire NBA world. Of course he's not as big as Lebron James, less then 1% of the entire NBA is. It's a whole other thing to say Steve Nash is irrelevant to many fans outside of Canada, especially after another incredible season. He's never been more relevant besides his MVP awards, now that he's a free agent

What a horrid 2nd half for Chicago. Joakim Noah was the only Chicago player to even bothering showing up and playing tonight.
