Hmmm... not too sure about that episode. Lot of gaps in logic tonight...

Yeah, I'm going to need some explanation beyond spidey senses to really buy that last scene.
Anyone else tensely waiting for Skyler's head to pop from a sniper rifle on the balcony? I figured one of those "Extreme Violence" warnings would have come up, but still tense.
Another good scene by Jesse in Walt's house.
So does Gus now know the dynamic duo are reunited?
What does the blurry picture of the side of the entrance to the cook lab reveal that tweaks Hank's interest? (/speculation)

I agree. One of the few times I've seen the show where things didn't really flow logically. The poisoning of Brock seemed like a bit of a stretch. How did Gus know that Jessie would think it was Walt that poisoned him? If gus knew about the poison in the cigarette why didn't he do something about it before?

Jesse had recently betrayed Walt by cooking without him.
Walt has been erratic and hostile toward Jesse.
As far as Jesse knew, no one but Walt knew about the ricin.
It's not totally unreasonable.

I doubt that Gus turned around because he knew about the bomb. It's possible that he decided to go and talk to Jesse again or maybe to do something about the kid.
The one logic hole that bothered me was when Jesse told the mother about the poison and told her to tell the doctors. If this happened, there would be a police investigation and the nurses would have definitely call the police once Jesse turned up at the hospital again.

I just don't see where Jesse would ever think that Walt would kill the kid like that.

Yeah I'm with everyone here it seems. The poisoning of the kid seemed ... off. And the end scene didn't sit well with me either.

I certainly didn't buy it 100%, but put yourself in Jesse's mindset: Kid you care deeply about is seriously sick from a poisoning, you know how fatal it should be, he got it from your cigarette pack, so you have to be guilt ridden and looking to blame someone, and (as far as you know) there's one other person who knows about the ricin and the two of you have been betraying and beating on each other. You really don't think your mind would go there?

I can see how it would work as a plot, but it just didn't "feel" right in the story ... if that makes any sense. It's not something I can quantify, it just seemed out of place.

I really don't know if the last scene was believable or whatever, but how intense was that? Man these guys know how to do drama and atmosphere.

Brillinant episode, just brilliant.
Something way off about the car, Gus must have noticed something about it and baced away. The guy seems to be someone who notices the small details, maybe be noticed something out of place. I totally bought it, and I bought g
The entire episode.
Glad we saw a return of McGiver Walt.

The scene with Jesse/Walt in the house and the final scene were unbelievable good and intense
I agree it makes sense that Gus would notice something, might have been in the way Jesse talked to him or something in the parking garage, either way I think a few characters don't survivor the finale next week

I thought Gus saw the reflection of light off of Walt's glasses. He had them on his head while he was looking through the binoculars. The camera kind of focused on them right before the episode ended, so I figure that's what put Gus off.

Still don't buy it. Even with them getting in a fight Walt would never do something like that, it's totally out of his character. I know Jesse is a bit of an idiot but for him to think that Walt somehow orchestrated the poisoning of the kid like that is too far out there. Walt made the ricin in the first place, if he wanted to poison the kid he would just make some more. He wouldn't hire Saul's 500lb bodyguard to try and pick Jesse's pocket and somehow get the exact right cigarette out of the pack, in a matter of seconds, then put the pack back, without him noticing. The idea is just bizarre.
I'm okay with the last scene, Gus could have realized that something wasn't right.

And Walt has caused harm to which innocent person?
The closest thing would be Gayle and he wasn't exactly an angel, and that was a matter of life and death not some crazy revenge scenario.

I thought that the stare down between Gus and Jesse maybe hinted something to Gus, especially Jesse's reaction when Gus said don't worry about the cook. Love this show

The word intense doesn't even come close to describing that episode. I caight myself a couple times with my mouth kinda half open, just waiting for something huge.
I wonder if we get an explanation as to what tipped Gus off or if he just thought of another way to deal with Jesse. I don't know, but all I do know is that this week is going by way too slowly already.

Great episode. Loved the ending (even though it was a little bit 'out there'). I don't think that Gus knew it had an explosive in his car, I think he remembered something about his conversation with Jesse and that is why he turned around. Poor Walt, he was so close! Can't wait for next weeks episode (the season finale I believe?).

I don't think you get as far as Gus has without having a bit of a 6th sense, I bought it, maybe because they did it so well.
As for gus having a connection with the teenage hit squad, I'm sure his orders were passed down the ranks with them not knowing who they were working for.
