Varsho coming up huge!
And then Vlad with an add on. Missed the homer by a couple of feet and gets thrown out at second. He's hit 3 missiles today.

I think this team can go farther than 2015 team. Has talent at every position. Not
To mention AL looks weak compared to the NL. Here’s hoping for a World Series final.

This was a really big win for me, for a few reasons.
The Orioles have given us fits lately, that last series (albeit in Baltimore) was a nightmare. Plus they’ve been hot coming in to this series. Bassitt on the mound and he’s always a wildcard, tonight we got good Bassitt. Yankees playing the Sox so guaranteed win for 1 of them. Pressure is mounting as October nears.
So, this is a big win!!

Nice win. Keep it going.
In the meantime Yanks & Bosox can beat each other senseless.

If my math is correct. Magic number is 12 to clinch the division.

Jays bats can’t seem to handle starters but feast on bullpens.

I think that's a function in part of getting platoon advantage in later innings... good roster construction

Yep. For the division magic number is 12 vs Yankees and 10 vs Red Sox (and technically 3 vs the Rays...) Today's win also officially eliminated the Orioles from the division race - it's mathematically impossible for them now.

Heineman’s throw to second was ill advised. Glad that Scherzer got out of it.
