No, it's way higher. He needs to gain 76,525 on Trump, so like 123,758 to 47,242. (roughly 70%).

Just as Trump will not concede, FOX is not going to call the election for Biden. Why would they?

Drives outrage therefore viewership.
But then they'd risk losing having Trump as their guest of honour. So maybe not.
I think AP will make the call.

It's Day 4 going into Day 5, the pitch is battered and unpredictable.

Interesting article about the GOP's efforts to solicit help from the USSC in shutting down the counting of ballots.
Who knew that different USSC justices were responsible for different regions of the US? Apparently Alison is responsible for PA.

I’m sure someone else has posted this, but it’s so bizarre that it’s a media decision. I kind of understand why, but at the same time why should they get final say?
I also understand that they’re gun shy after Florida in 2000, but this is pointless. They call states immediately after they close (like California, Washington and Oregon), and nearly no votes are counted. We all know what’s going on in Pennsylvania though; this is just for drama and ratings at this stage.

That is bizarre. Like who called the election in 1804?

There's a reason the constitution gives the states 5 weeks to certify it, another 4 weeks to register the votes with congress and two more weeks to transition

It is cringy but so we’re the upper middle class kids who listened to it in high school (like me).

Ah so the media is really just calling it for us, or we wouldn't know.

The bigger problem is my understanding is that’s outstanding ballots as opposed to ballots in hand and that provisional ballots don’t always get accepted. So it’s unlikely there are enough votes left. But I haven’t really gone into a deep dive.

Whoops... I had a feeling my math was way too easy. Can’t believe I didn’t consider the remaining ballots wouldn’t just disappear into nothingness.

Biden's speech is so beautifully boring.
I miss boring when it comes to US politics.
