Varsho isn’t going to the DPed nearly as easily.

Luplow would have been a better choice than Kirk. Decent against lefties…reasonable speed. More likely to strike out than ground into a double play.

As much as I want to blame the bullpen, so much of this falls on the hitters for just not doing their ####ing job.
If the game was 5-0 in the 6th, Kikuchi would have finished the inning and maybe gone into the 7th.
