My list would be
1. Rastamasta - he comes out of nowhere after saying nothing ever and will just announce something is happening in the next day or so (The Backlund re-signing)
2. Royal9 - Clearly very connected to the organization. He's not gonna break news in the moment as much as make you aware of what's happening in Flames land in the day to day and lead you up to a trade\/signing that eventually happens (Markstrom is the perfect example)
3. Sec214 - He's great and connected on some level, but I'm old and the thread take overs with the gifs and everyone gushing with guesses to what they mean is too much for me at my age, haha. I won't be a wet blanket, though, I can see people enjoy it.
4. Dissentowner - I honestly have a hard time understanding it, it lines up weird for me. Nothing is broken, nothing is said until others say things and then suddenly there's like a three page synopsis on what happened on a Calgary Flames trade/signing that almost sounds like he was in the room with family, lol. I respect he probably has some source. But he goes from not hearing anything on the Flames before hand on most events to having huge, multi paragraph synopsis/updates on Flames rumors after it's been discussed that are basically an amalgamation of what has come out publicly from verified insiders.
But I respect that he is contributing and enjoy hearing what's being talked about around the league.

Good list, and I appreciate these posters (and others) offering tidbits and keeping this thread interesting and sparking discussion (wow, that's a lot of ands in one sentence lol).
Love the Sec214 cryptic gifs. Keeps us guessing and is pretty entertaining to read how posters are interpreting it.

Right. Friedman was just saying (a) Kadri has a full NMC, and the Flames won't approach him on a trade unless someone makes them an offer which forces them to ask. Or, (b) if Kadri wants out (which he doesn't at the moment) they'd obviously move him.
Conroy is not asking Kadri to waive over a so-so trade, when he's made it clear he doesn't want to even be asked.

For all the love that Bennett gets (and he totally deserves it too for being beast mode in the playoffs any time he's there), Kadri's performance is similar if you think back to the times he's been there. He brings the same level of intensity in the playoffs, is physical, a PITA to share the ice with when you're on the other side and produces in key moments as well, like Bennett. Granted the last time he was there was 4 seasons ago when he was 30, but watching his seasons since then, he is just as physical and agitating even in the regular season.

Really? Hasn't he gotten suspended most times he is in the playoffs and cost his team the series.
He had the one good playoffs with Colorado when they won the cup. But even then, he was injured half the playoffs and they likely would have won without him anyways.
I don't think the 2 are comparable at all.

Either way though, he was injured for a lot of the playoffs. That Avs team was so good they won many games without him that run.
