How do they not start Horwitz? Yeah I get avoiding lefty lefty matchups but this isn’t a playoff game. Give him a chance to gain experience against one of the league’s best.

OK. So I know I said I didn't want to go all-in on defense and it would be better to add some bats. But a little bit of defense would be OK.

At least the Blue Jays are part of playoff races, the really only race there is, between the Braves and Mets, playing them in back to back series.

And keeping both of those team's spirits high.

Schneider cannot get out of the way of the spreadsheet. The Jays should be in full evaluation mode and Schneider still cannot see what needs to be done. I really hope he does not return next year but he will.

Identify who might be starters for this team next year and play them the rest of the season. Wagner, Horwitz, Barger and even Jimenez should be playing every game. The rest like Loperfido and Schneider have too many holes in their games to worry about right now.

I’m not watching at the moment but how is this guy coming in and destroying it all of a sudden? There were zero indications he was any good. And still that’s the case. But has any pitcher had such a dominating three games in a row…ever??

If we're talking about Bowden Francis his last start against Philly wasn't the greatest but he's pretty much been locked in since the beginning of August!
