Donald Trump is an idiot. And he's playing the American people to be idiots as well. I just listened to the Paris Accord withdrawal announcement again and he just flat out lies, time-and-time-again, stating the most simplistic things to verify. BLOTUS yammers on-and-on about coal this, and coal that, and how we are going to lose jobs because of the drive to get away from using coal, but that is all lies. The numbers just don't support his claims.
The number one producer of coal in the world is China, producing 3,747 million tonnes in 2015. That’s four and a half times what the United States produces. The United States produces 813 million tonnes, down from 907 million tonnes in 2014. China has seen a drop in coal production as well, down almost 130 million tonnes from 2014. The move is away from producing coal.
Consumption wise, China is the global leader, burning 4,539 million tonnes in 2014, but down 139 tonnes from 2013. Conversely, the United States consumed 918 million tonnes, down 6 million tonnes from 2013.
As far as exports and imports, Indonesia and Australia are the largest exporters, shipping out 422 and 333 million tonnes respectively. Russia and the US come in 3rd and 4th, shipping 151 and 127 million tonnes in 2010. The US exports dropped to 60 tonnes in 2016. Japan and China are the top importers, bringing in 207 and 195 million tonnes respectively in 2010. The US imported 21 million tonnes in 2010, but those numbers have dropped significantly down to only 9 million tonnes in 2016.
I hate it when politicians blatantly lie. Trump and his administration are serial liars. Sadly, their supporters refuse to acknowledge they are not only buying the lies, but intentionally supporting the lies. Until this behavior changes I hold out little hope for the United States. Party over country has to stop.

As for him using his platform, it's up to his employer to decide what he can or cannot do with it.

You make climate change seem like it is something that is based on opinion. Similar to how one could have an opinion on who would be the best RW for the Flames top line. The difference is that climate change is not really an opinion thing. It is closer to a "water runs downhill thing". Some people may claim that water does not run downhill, but that person does not have an opinion, that person is an idiot.

Why would he stop blatantly lying now? It hasn't seemed to have effected him with his supporters, or his party as of yet.

On Saturday night, following the attack, Mr Trump tweeted a message of support to the UK, but also sparked controversy after he called for his travel ban on visitors from six predominantly Muslim countries to be upheld by US courts.
On Sunday, he criticised Mr Khan, writing: "At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is 'no reason to be alarmed!'"
His tweet angered many in the UK, who pointed out Mr Khan had been referring to increased police numbers on the streets.
During an interview earlier on Sunday, Mr Khan had said: "Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days. No reason to be alarmed."

I don't think Trump's tweet about there not being a gun debate sends the message he thinks it does. 7 dead and 48 wounded because they used knives and a truck. What would the number be if it was 3 men armed with guns?
The shooting in Orlando last year killed 49 and wounded 53 more. That was one man armed with 2 guns.

I think we're all waiting for this kind of event to happen in America again, just to see how far off the deep end Trump goes.

I hope someone asks Spicey if Trump's gun debate tweet means that he's in support of UK-style gun control legislation in the US.

Trump links to Druge and Infowars in rapid succession, wildly misreads London's mayor's statements for his own benefits, generally acting like an ass. Then goes golfing.
Otherwise known as the weekend.
Why does Trump need Druge to get his world news, doesn't he have an entire intelligence community to berate for info?

He is too busy golfing, plus he doesn't have the attention span or intellectual capability to understand intelligence briefings.

And Trump calling it a ban again on Twitter, I'm sure that makes Spicer look forward to tomorrow.

The information from his intelligence community doesn't feed his bias, I assume.

Turns out one of Trump's golfing partners today was Peyton Manning. So I imagine the new terrorism strategy they discussed will be called Omaha.

Which is why Trump's tweets about security is a joke. Why the hell does this country need tighter security when we are armed to the teeth? We're supposed to have the best security in the world because every person is carrying a gun! BLOTUS strikes again.

Per 100,000 people
US - 10.2
UK - 0.2
