Agreed. Some of the “sports” with arbitrary scoring are up there too. Examples this year include:
Breakdancing
Skateboarding
Rhythmic gymnastics
BMX freestyle
Whatever it’s called that those old ladies do at the Y in the pool.

I saw a lady do a 3-4 second happy dance after dropping off their kid at daycare (out of sight of kid). She suddenly stopped mid stride of her walk to happy dance, then leaped and skipped to her vehicle after the dance. I thought it was a little strange at first, but then I chuckled.
No idea who this stranger is, but I couldn't help catch a little bit of her infectious excitement and happiness. Thanks stranger! I kinda needed that today.

I’m not saying he shouldn’t.
But we need a different adjective to describe athlete salaries, because nobody who’s making Dan Marino’s entire career in one season is “underpaid.”
They’re all extremely well compensated for what they do.
