Don't care about United's atm, I know we've had a much lower net spend bar the Ronaldo transfer.

The Liverpool one that he's passing off as fact is the one I have a problem with. It's far from fact.

I'm going to put this in here for humour rather than bumping the World Cup thread:

This is from Maradona's twitter in response to the death of Paul the Psychic Octopus.

No Maradona, its your fault you lost the World Cup. You are a terrible manager.

Although I believe that players who collect the ball the way Nani did after being tackled should be sent off and not simply cautioned, I have to *gasp* agree with Whiskey nose; Gomes is also at fault. Clattenburg could have booked Nani during the next stoppage in play after the advantage was played out so there was no need to stop play, although it is usually stopped.

Nice to see the Toon absolutely lay the boots to Sunderland in the Tyne and Wear Derby!

Sir Alex Ferguson believes watching the World Cup is worse than a trip to the dentist and says there is no doubt the Champions League is the game's premier competition.

Says it all really. I think Fergie is an idiot.

I don't think he is wrong in the terms of which has the better quality

I like the WC but more for the drama than the quality, and the Champions League blows it away in both categories

It's funny that Ferguson now sounds like a Mourinho clone. It's pretty obvious who he wants to be his successor.

Owen Hargreaves first start since 2008 lasted five minutes!

He's so done. Shame.

They're saying that it was a hamstring and not anymore ligament damage.
So maybe just a small setback.

Trouble is he's been having small setbacks for two years now.

He's the definition of a crocked footballer
