Just kind of thinking today, with all of the injuries in the middle, why hasn't Harry called back Jamie O'Hara?

It was part of the deal for Kaboul that they couldn't recall O'Hara until after the season

Seeing how this thread has been hijacked by CP's 2 resident Spurs fans, I feel I should see what they think as to what sort of impact Spurs will have on the title race as they play each of the three contenders in the closing stages of the EPL season? Home to Arsenal and Chelsea, away to Manchester. Away to United will be difficult, very difficult. It might be a good time to play Chelsea at home, seeing how their form has suffered at bit recently. The big game on 10/04 is the one I'm sure Spurs would love to win, but seeing how they haven't beaten their biggest rivals in the EPL since 1999, I wonder if that will influence their approach to the game. I mean they eventually have to break that streak don't they?

Oh God, we gave them residency!?!? I'm all for multiculturalism but not at the risk of losing our Western, I mean winning, values.
Yes, I do realize it is kind of rich that a person who supports Charlton and cheers for Arsenal is talking about winning values.

I'd be happy with 4 points, but I think there's a good chance they could end up with none. Harry has them playing well, but I see the injuries catching up once they start going up against the big clubs.
In other news, the did finally reach an agreement with Sandro. He'll be joining Spurs at the end of August, pending a physical and visa.

West Ham lost a huge game today
only 3 points up on Burnley now
I think it will come down to those 2 along with Hull for the 2 relegation spots along with Pompey
big won for Wolves though as they move 7 pts clear and should be safe

0 chance at Utd
they haven't left there with a win in like 26 years
4 points from Arsenal/Chelsea at home would be nice. 6 is possible but I think 3 or 4 would be more likely
They have played Chelsea well the last 3 years, and I think Vermaelan could be suspended for the game which puts the Arsenal CB's as Judas and whomever the 4th choice (Silvestre?) is because Gallas re-aggravated his calf
I think the pressure of not having a win over Arsenal in the league since 1999 has been lowered a bit ever since the 5-1 win in the carling cup semi final a few years ago (in which Arsenal dressed their "A" lineup) and the huge comeback by Spurs last year in the 4-4 draw.
The only team that really brings out the "pressure" and the sinking feeling that anything and everything that could go wrong will go wrong, is when they play Man Utd or when Howard Webb is involved
Spurs injury situation is improving a lot as well, Huddlestone and Bentley could possibly play tomoro although I would guess they get held to the weekend. Defoe and Lennon should both be back by the Chelsea game as well.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto is awful. I like that Harry has built depth up front and in the middle, but something has to be done at LB.

I actually think up front is the weakest position on the team
the back 4 is solid, BAE is good defensively but Bale is going to be an absolutely world class attacking LB

what a 2nd half though, absolutely clinical destruction of fulham
just need nEverton to hold on, and Sunderland holding off Villa would be nice as well

BAE is too inconsistent for me. The guy seems to have crucial brainfarts at the most inopportune times. Bale is turning into a hell of a player but could still use to improve his defensive play.
Oh and...HA! HA! STUPID CITY!

Interesting. I'd think that they'd be fortunate to come away with 2 points, with one being most likely. It seems that Spurs perennially under perform against top flight talent in the EPL. And it is a tall order to play the top 3 teams in a row - in any league - over your last 6 matches. Plus away to Eastlands won't be easy. This could ring the death knell for Spurs' European ambitions.

Last 3 home league games against Chelsea have produced 2 wins and 1 draw
Spurs are better this year than any of those years, Chelsea arguably worse
last year they got draws in both games with Arsenal
they lost 3-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates this year but they had no chance going in. Lennon, Modric, Huddlestone, and Defoe were all out
Their problem this year has not been the games against the top teams
they beat Man City 3-0, drew twice with Villa, won and tied with Everton, won and lost with Liverpool
so against the teams they are competing with for 4th they have performed greatly
the problem this year has been bad performances against bad teams, tieing Hull at home, losing to Stoke at home, losing to Wolverhampton twice etc.
If they can beat 1 I will always hope its Arsenal, and with their injuries/suspensions at the back I think Spurs have as good a chance as ever.
Having said that I remember 2005, and having been born in London in to an entire family of spurs fans, I know how this story finishes. And it most likely involves 5th place in some tragic turn of events, most likely on the last day.
