Huska is the worst coach in the NHL. Every time they get a 1 goal lead he drops back into the most passive joke if an NHL system ever. You can see this coming from a mile away. Every other team that is comprtatntly coached has been aggressive on the firecheck and making the Oilers play in their own end. Not Huska, read 4 d chess. Can't wait until the Flames have a competent head coach.
Their record in one goal games would suggest they generally do well when holding a slim lead

Draisaitl with a point on both oilers goals. The grease pigs are royally screwed without him or McDiver in the lineup. The rest of the team can’t do a thing without those two being involved .It is unreal.

Both times the Flames got up they immediately fell back and tried to play Huska's zero puck pressure defense. The Oilers defense sucks, if you pressure then they will cough up the puck. Instead Huska gifts then zone exits and trued to trade to a 1 goal win.
Exact results he always gets as a professional head coach. .his system is designed to be .500.
They had a number of offensive chances up 2-1. And the tying goal was because they were shooting up ice aggressively and got caught.
Sorry about your narrative.
