Maybe oilers fans could watch some Peter puck since it’s remarkably well explained.

It’s pretty cool though to see how the rules have changed; touch up offsides and no touch icing.

And how all the players look like scooby doo villians!

I confidently predict the Flames will go 82-0, so long as other teams keep playing their third string goalies against us.

It hilarious that Oilers fans still bring this one up.

Nurse shoves Perry into Talbot, Perry's stick ends up stuck under Talbot. Perry should not be required to drop his stick because of a situation he did not put himself in - so he's pulling on his stick, and nothing else, to get the stick free.

Switch the two teams, and the Oilers fan's would have been equally as furious had it been called back.

Plus, it was 3-0 with 3 minutes to play. Close the game out, so that you don't have to put yourself in that situation.

Perry spears Andersson in the nuts - no call.

Perry then skates through the crease and trips Vladar - no call

Perry then stands in the crease, impeding Vladar, and a goal is scored that gets waived off. Correctly.

Oiler fans whine and shout for 3 days that the refs have totally jobbed them.

Their just upset they didn’t get their league mandated six powerplays and at least one in the final three minutes.

I’m sure the league will take care of that soon.

Honestly, I think that is why Klapka sat. He would take a penalty up there, whether deserved or not.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Klapka has been singled out by the officials a few times, so I can buy that.

When Mavi told the oilers during the intermission to “dig in right f’n now” and asked teammates to take command and make a personal contribution, why would Draisaitl interpret that to mean go stiff legged, pretend to hit the boards, and fall onto your gloves but pretend it’s your face?

Draisaitl could have tried to drive through or around the player that was in his 12th nhl game; instead, he gains the zone, curls back, and falls down.

Draisaitl, when misinterpreted hearing the Oilers had the GOAT and adapted his diving technique accordingly.

I was shocked to be honest reading the sun and the Edmonton reporter was really critical of the lack of powerplays but for an honest reason.

The oilers aren't skating and working hard enough to get powerplays.

Edmonton was losing battles all over the ice the entire night in my view, except for a few minutes to start. They looked slow and unenthusiastic.

Oh yeah, but thats going to get better as the oldest team in the League grinds out the next 79 games.

The Oilers honestly looked really bad. I thought the Flames D would have a lot of trouble with their speed. But really there wasn’t any.

The wonder twins were invisible.

Didn’t look like cup favourites to me.

Was just looking at the league stats. Tampa has only played 1 game and scored 4 goals, EDM has played 3 and scored 3. Generational talent indeed!!

I laughed for waaay too long at this! Fantastic! If I only had photoshop skills to put an oilers 29 on the goat and a flames 58 on the other one.

Thanks very much for the late afternoon laugh!

Maybe it will after generous applications of their new team-sponsored product. The colours even match.

Katz can use his former owner 10%discount card at rexall to pick a few palettes of this up.

Of course, the seniors’ discount on Tuesday is 15% so everyone not the glitter twins would be able to get a better discount.
