Clement seems like a great guy to have in the dugout

What a great game. And the most important thing so far is gausman looking comfortable and deadly in his limited start.

So, Vladdy probably digs that double play ball out of the dirt, and this inning is over. Instead, two more runs are across. Sucks to have average defense =-o

Next Jays HR they should stomp on 1st and cross their arms while looking at their bench like that idiot in the 1st inning did.
Bring in Cabrera in the 9th to make some inside pitches to coward Caballero, who made a nice error this game.

White looks better than he did last season. I believe his last MLB appearance before the DFA was a similar situation where he got put in for garbage time with a big lead and almost blew the game, so going 3+ innings of no run ball is an improvement. He's giving up some contact but it's mostly grounders and lazy fly balls.

strange series, a split but none of the games close

It's great for the bullpen! Better to lose big and save arms than lose a close one and have all your good pitchers out. And like I said earlier, lose big on the road and you only have to pitch 8 innings.

I reckon its the Blue Jay's big brain analytics team in action.

Be interesting to see Bowden Francis tomorrow. Hopefully he has us saying "Alek, who?"

So Astros are off to a horrible start. Is that good or bad for us? Will they course correct or did we catch them at a good time? I guess we'll find out.
