The Olympic theme today is pretty cool. Hard to remember bronze medallists!

And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

Stayed entirely with 2002 medallists, because I have those rosters uniquely saved away in my memory vault, waiting for just such an occasion

I had to think long and hard about bronze medallists. Who the hell remembers who won bronze in a given year?
I basically lucked myself into completing this one:

was on my way to a zero, then botched the last square-lower left- assuming was correct but only drafted by Washington, didn't play for them
did well with the Flames row
I see Ryan Lambert was the guest puzzle curator today

Having the capitals seems to be an instant loss for me.

For me it’s the Wild. To me they only had Gaborik and a bunch of scrubs for ten years.

That’s true for me too actually. Which makes no sense, feels like we allllwaaayyyss play them and I can remember like 5 guys. 4 of them are goalies.

was going to go G Hall, but tried to drive my score a bit lower. like you went Murzyn, and went with another Stastny
Petit/McKegney/M.Stastny
Murzyn/Veisor/Stoughton
Nordmark/Murphy/Lefley
uniqueness 2 (Petit and Stoughton 1 each)

Got super annoyed today by picking the wrong player with the same name. Both current players who started one year apart. Hard to know exactly which one to pick without googling which then kinda ruins the game.

Got burned with Dallas/Winnipeg. I thought I would go with the low hanging fruit and pick Numminen. I totally ignored that the current Jets aren't the same team.

I'm finding today tough with Leafs/Habs and Leafs/Sens. Those teams don't make many trades!
