Ouch! Three late third period Abbotsford goals sink the Wranglers 5-2. Dansk with the loss. McLain and Pelletier were the Calgary marksmen.
The 3 Wranglers Posts in the last 5min didn’t help either… one of them when tied 2-2. can we get contact tracing in place? Have any wranglers been in close contact with Andrew Mangiapane lately?

Wolf with another shutout as the Wranglers win 3-0. Calgary waited until the third period to score the first goal of the game then added another and an empty netter. Two points for Phillips.

What’s kind of exciting about the Wranglers team this year is that 6 of the 7 wranglers top scorers are 23 or younger… Matthew Phillips being the only one older at 24.
The Coachella Valley Firebirds, who the Wranglers are battling for top spot of the division, have only one player in their top 7 who is under 23, Ryker Evans, and he is 21. This is a similar trend for another top team in Hershey.
Usually the top teams in the AHL are made up of seasoned veterans in impactful positions. The conclusion I’m going to draw from this is that the Wranglers roster might be made up of younger players who would likely be in the NHL if they were with a different organizations…

Yeah thats awesome the Flames have so many young players flourishing in the AHL but at some point they need to start graduating a few of these guys no?

I don't know if I would say that the Wranglers players would be in the NHL if they were with another organization. I think as a team they are good but as players I would say they are still AHLers. I think the young Wranglers are showing NHL potential for sure and that the Wranglers have become a good place to develop for young players

Exactly.
I know some people just want to draw conclusions that the organization sucks, but I look at all the young guys playing well on the Wranglers, and the conclusion that I draw is that they are doing a good job developing players.

I agree, they are doing well but are still making at times “rookie” mistakes, out of position, turn overs, bad passes, etc but the change in the team from the first game is astonishing, and you can see them bringing it together, and the errors and fewer each minute played.
Obviously the potential is there, and with what I have seen coaching/teammates pull together in a few months, most of them are exactly where they need to be, in order to have mentorship, leadership and build a long career off it.
