2 points better than 3, would rather Canucks win but neither team looked great.

What is it when you're capped out, with a roster of 17 skaters and Kulak is your best defenceman? (Not knocking Kulak there)

Nothing new here. Oilers stage a comeback and win off the backs of Mcdavid and the powerplay. Turning point was the non call on Kane.

Not a recipe for longer term success.

that's like every game at rogers loo the last couple years . oilers get embarrassed 5 on 5 because they're terrible then in the back half pp their way back into it while exchanging end to end chances because they know nothing else . something happens off a missed call on them to change the course of the game . typical nonsense

They keep getting horseshoes though.

This charade should have fallen by now and yet here we are.

a team with ceci and kulak in the top 4 and two backup goalies should get shelled . and yet you're right .. here we are watching team no defense somehow do it again . I blame the no goodness of vancouver in this instance though , they really let off the gas . weak execution from Boudreaus group

The basically pulled a Flames in game 2.

The Oilers first goal should have never happened because Kane should have a had a double minor but they let them hang around. They really didn't make life difficult on Campbell either after going up 3-0.

Team McDrai strikes again as the Oilers get another win gift-wrapped for them by the officials. And of course all of their offence courtesy of the wonder twins. Wow, what a shocker! Cup parade back on.

The recipe hasn't changed in beating that team. Do whatever you can to slow down McDoofus and limit penalties, you win. The had to bump up Draisaitl up with McDavid after the first period cause he was non existent. The goaltending was average. D zone coverage was brutal. They were lucky it wasn't 5 0 after the 1st. It sucks that the one guy they have is that impactful. Hopefully with the addition of Weegs and Kadri we are better equipped to limit him.

Caught the Nucks/Coilers highlights. So typical of the Coilers...getting worked until the refs started playing for them. Pathetic.

Somehow, the NHL tries to screw them by making them play a hard six games at home first to start the season.

Come on, to be fair, you have to count the officials, as well. Oilers have 5 men on the ice at all times, it's just that 3 of them are wearing striped jerseys. After those 5, nobody else on the ice matters.
