This might be the best trade in league history for a team, let alone the Flames. I'm in shock.
Weegar is the best part of the deal that includes Jonathan freaking Huberdeau coming back to us.
Both, without playing a game for us, if we can't resign, are worth a $hit ton at the deadline, ESPECIALLY Weegar. The guy can play both ends of the ice, right handed shot (which is extremely valuable) and is a phenomenal skater.

I'm assuming it's one of two things or they don't do it.
1) Huberdeau has indicated he's signing
2) They are looking at it for this summer. If they won't sign then you're back to moving a one year rental again but you've already upped your asset pool with the first trade
Getting a return for Huberdeau before the season would just add to the Florida deal. They could do the same with Weegar too and make it a full future haul.
