An interesting stat was mentioned yesterday during the Panthers/Caps game.
After 4 games, The Flames and Avs were tied for first in the playoffs for having 149 of their shots being blocked or missing the net. Sometimes players just miss because of bad aim or whiffing, but usually it is because the lane is blocked and they just want to get some bounces.
It's a pretty good measurement of what we have all been witnessing. Dallas's game plan is to just get in front of everything. That has to wear down a team over time.

Same here, but debating if I go to 7. Thrill of a win vs. heartbreak of a loss being weighed....
The way I see it. If they lose you will be pissed about spending the money but you will get over it but it will sting for a while.
If they win you will likely remember it for the rest of your life. Game 6 against Vancouver is something I remember like it was yesterday despite already being more than 7 years ago

Yes. I was there when they beat Detroit in ‘04.
I was there again when they beat Vancouver in ‘15
I was a teenager for the first, not sure what it cost. Doubt my dad regrets it. I paid for the second. Wayyyyyy too much. But I told myself if they had a chance to win at home I would go.
No regrets. And both are still some of my favourite, most vivid memories.

Detroit, game 6, 2004 was the best flames memory (and game I’ve been at) of my life.
And great point about how tonight plays out. Even just a fraction of Detroit game 6 gets me pumped for the game tonight.
